Summary of About People
In the novel “About People”, the protagonist, Dora, relocates from Berlin to a small village in the former East-German Brandenburg, in search of a different life. Life is indeed different in this village, and Dora discovers that her metropolitan views are not as universally accepted as she had thought.

Juli Zeh, a renowned German author, received the 2002 Bücherpreis for best debut novel, for her novel “Eagles and Angels” (“Adler und Engel”).
