Summary of Dubliners

 

“Dubliners” is a collection of 15 short stories by the Irish writer James Joyce, that offers readers a portrayal of the lives of ordinary people in Dublin at the turn of the twentieth century. Many of the places and characters in “Dubliners” are drawn from real life, with several characters reappearing in Joyce’s later work “Ulysses”.
