Summary of The Blessing
Grace Allingham, an Englishwoman, moves to France with her young son, Sigi, to live with her aristocratic French husband, Charles-Edouard. She feels out of place among the fashionable yet morally ambiguous upper classes of Paris. Upon discovering her husband’s many infidelities, Grace decides to leave him. Meanwhile, mischievous little Sigi sees personal benefits in keeping his parents apart.
